FOLKS - the attached article speaks volumes about the "culture" with in the ranks of Queensland Police.

The inquiries researchers made to conduct research into the culture of QPS Officers were met with a flat out "NO" because a spokesperson stated THEY found it "offensive" to suggest Qld Police had a CULTURAL ISSUE.

I hark back to the Facebook group shut down earlier this year - AS QUIETLY AS POSSIBLE, where ONLY 11 officers were 'counselled' - yet there was almost 2,000 officers in that group found to be making racist and homophobic comments. NO CULTURAL ISSUES WITH IN THE RANKS OF QLD POLICE? Wow, what can you say when it comes from the top down - with the Commissioner mainly concerned about defamation against senior officers. WOW - JUST WOW!

We support other groups calling for a ROYAL COMMISSION into cultural issues with in the QLD POLICE 'SERVICE' folks.

Currently, you may have noticed a plethora of media stories - especially on Channel 9 and 7. These stories are sprouting how 'GOOD' police are at saving you - the community out there - from the nasties of crime and violence. Make no mistake, this is deliberate because Police 'Services' in general have an image problem.

A Royal Commission is not only desperately needed, it is essential.
