DOES THE QUEENSLAND POLICE MANIPULATE THE MEDIA - HELL YES

As a citizen, you ALL have the right to know about corruption and misconduct issues in police 'services'. The media article is a good example of why we need Civilian Oversight into police misconduct issues.

QPS are well known for manipulating the media. Find a negative story about police being reported, and you can bet you will see several 'warm and fuzzy or feel good' stories flooding the media outlooks sympathetic to police 'causes' following shortly. AND they bury the bad ones by simply NOT RESPONDING WITH A FOLLOW UP TO PROVE THEY DID SOMETHING ABOUT THE ISSUE!
