Tell Queens Skate Dine Bowl not to use LIVE penguins in their ice rink!

Queens Skate Dine Bowl has announced that on the 19th January they will be bringing live penguins onto their ice rink.

The five Humboldt penguins, which are usually very shy creatures, will be in their own pen in the middle of the ice rink, surrounded by a hip-height barrier. However, these penguins will still experience a huge amount of stress. The bright lights, music & general noise is most certainly not a suitable environment for any animal.

This event will go on for four hours & is to raise money for a bird conservation charity, however animal rights organisation PETA has sent Queens a letter, asking them to cancel the event, due to the huge amount of stress is it going to cause the penguins. Queens is yet to respond.
