I’ve just been told the QLD government are meeting today to discuss their outrageous decision to appeal a Federal Court ruling which found police guilty of racism. It’s beyond offensive, these cops “breached the Racial Discrimination Act” in 2004, following a death in custody of an aboriginal man. We can’t let Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk proceed with an appeal in their defence. Please join me in calling her office today, urging her to drop this hurtful appeal - (07) 3719 7000 It would cause dangerous damage within our community for this appeal to proceed.
