My complaint about this Wicked Campers van was upheld by the Advertising Standards Bureau but yet again was ignored by Wicked Campers. Brisbane City Council and Qld Police have advised they cannot act under any current legislation. A Parliamentary Committee looked into the issue earlier this year and recommended the introduction of legislation allowing fines to be imposed to back up findings against companies by the ASB when companies refuse to comply by removing the offending material. The Qld Attorney General has advised that they agree with the recommendations but no timeframe has been given for introducing legislation.
