The number of people who've signed my petition has more than doubled in the last 3 days - now over 2000 and climbing. Keep sharing and writing and let's get this done!
If you'd like to read more about some of the action that's been taken over the last two years since Sydney mum Paula Orbea first started her petition to get some of these things removed from WC vans, check out her latest blog

and also this link of hers which is continually updated with pictures of offensive vans http://questionsforus.com/2015/01/16/literally-wicked-campers-still-offend/
Lots of media attention around too, especially in light of current cases in NZ and Byron Bay - check these out:

Thanks also for your supportive comments - they are very much appreciated. It is sometimes a hard decision to put oneself out there and stand up for common decency without being labelled a wowser who can't take a joke (and much worse) and attracting haters and trolls. Others say we should just stay silent as we are just giving the company the attention they crave.
But I believe this is too important to stay silent on and to give up in the face of endless obstacles and excuses. The standard we walk past is the standard we accept. By staying silent we are saying it is acceptable to have this stuff in the public domain.
If these vans were denigrating and ridiculing people based on their religion, race or sexuality, the PC brigade and media would be shouting from the rooftops. Why shouldn't women and children be afforded that same protection and consideration?
It's not allowed in any other public forum and 99% of businesses self-regulate successfully but WC owner has no conscience. All we're asking for is for a fine to be introduced for continual breaches - why is this so hard???
Onwards and upwards though....
