We live in a world of overreaching computer A.I. taking control of our daily lives in a way that is insidious to say the least. Who hasn’t had a FB post deleted because it violated some “community standard” and when you appeal it, boom! It’s been reviewed within minutes and yes it’s bad, you are in prison for 24 hours. Do you think a live person actually read that post? NO! Not a chance.
This technology has moved into many technical fields as well. Tonight, we are talking with Kevin “Sully” Sullivan, a former US Navy F-14 TOPGUN pilot who suffered a catastrophic failure of his onboard computer system in his Qantas Airbus 330. They were flying from Singapore to Perth Australia on QF72 when the computer took over the aircraft and they had no control at all.
As a pilot reading the different reports, I firmly believe that without the skilled hands of this aviator on board, they would have gone missing in the ocean.
We are going to talk about his incident and A.I. that is coming online every day. You don’t want to miss this one on July 6th at 7pm CST.
