Dear Supporters

Many thanks for your fantastic support, with the help of which the number of your signatures exceeded 55,000 today. It is very difficult for me to imagine such a large number of people – in many towns the population is smaller. I myself was born and spent the first 20 years of my life in a Moscow suburb with a population of 150,000, and 55,000 – it is more than a third of that population. And if we exclude children, this is probably half of the population. 

Today I want to continue the topic that I raised in the previous two updates. In yesterday's update, I showed that the High Court considers it normal (not unusual) such things as (1) death threats from the defendant against the plaintiff (me) and even his children with the demands to drop the claim, (2) taking the plaintiff hostage with the help of a completely crazy fabricated criminal case and extortion with its help, (3) the fact of fabricating such a criminal case. 

But this is only half the absurdity, the other half is that the High Court simultaneously considers my behavior “out of the norm”. You probably may not believe what I am about to write, but it is absolutely true – the court, using such phraseology, accuses me, for example, that I submitted a 78-page document to the court instead of a 75-page document. And these three extra pages are "out of the norm” against the background of the fact that death threats against me from super–rich oligarchs are not only not “out of the norm”, but this is the norm. 

I leave aside for now the question that I actually submitted a 75-page document (the court simply took into account the wrong version of the document). But even if we assume that I wrote these extra three pages, the scale and absurdity of the contrast is simply amazing. The court forgives Putin's super-rich oligarchs for making monstrous death threats against me, and at the same time accuses me of just writing three extra pages, calling it "out of the norm”.

In this regard, it is impossible not to recall the following words of representatives of these oligarchs, expressed on 21 June 2021, when these people demanded that I assign the lawsuit to them under death threats: 

Bobylev: Look, Igor, I have such a question. Imagine that I am you. I am Igor Sychev, and you are the judge. And here sits our defendant [who is pictured next to Putin]. Please tell me, now you are a judge and you are a bribed judge. This is not possible in the English court, but we will imagine for a moment that you are the bribed judge. What would you cling to to make a decision not in my favor? Here you are the judge, you are the bribed judge, you need to cling to something. The judge is guided, except for his wig, by his conscience, he is not guided by anything else, this is in any legislation of the world. Now, what would you say? What would a bribed judge cling to? 

Me: I can't even imagine. 

Bobylev: Is everything going so fine for you? But in principle, we were told the same thing.

I propose to rephrase the question of my interlocutors as follows: can uncorrupted judges make such absurd decisions? It seems to me that this is impossible. 

I will now go back to your 55,000 signatures. Today I downloaded a file with a list of people who signed my petition, and my old computer froze – it couldn't open such a huge list. Since the situation has become completely absurd, I will finally send the petition to the addressees by the end of this week, along with this huge list of people who signed it.

BRIEFLY WHAT WE HAVE IN THE REALITY. 

First, death threats (without financial demands) – up to 10 years in prison. 

Second, death threats with financial demands (extortion) – up to 14 years in prison. 

Third, the use of a forged document – up to 10 years in prison. 

Fourth (my favorite) - the oligarchs' bribery of my lawyers (law firm CANDEY, which demanded from me, that the entire document in question be only on 3 pages) – up to 10 years in prison. 

Fifth, what is the real reason for such an absurd position of the High Court?

THIS IS THE REALITY AND EXACTLY THIS IS WHAT IS FAR BEYOND ANY NORM, NOT MY FICTIONAL THREE EXTRA PAGES.
