Dear Supporters and Potential Supporters

We are approaching the next symbolic mark of 20 thousand signatures, after which I will make a more important and detailed update.

Now I want to tell you about two pieces of news.

First, one of my demands in the petition is that the UK authorities start an investigation into the bribery of my former British lawyers (Candey firm) by the Russian oligarchs. I will briefly remind you that this firm, which was supposed to protect my interests, actually began to protect the oligarchs, aggressively demanding that I not report to the English court about the monstrous things committed by the oligarchs against me and the justice system. Candey demanded that my response to the 2600-page applications of the oligarchs to the British court be formulated in 3-5 pages, consisting exclusively of headlines and hints, and not contain evidence of the monstrous behavior of the oligarchs.

So, last week, a formal investigation of this story began, and I hope that both the Russian oligarchs (who bribed Candey) and Candey (who agreed to be bribed) will finally be brought to justice for these crimes.

Second, yesterday the European authorities confirmed my refugee status from Russia due to the persecution of me there by these Putin oligarchs. Although this procedure was a formality and was carried out just in connection with the expiration of 5 years from the date of granting me refugee status, in fact, the European authorities confirmed again that nothing had changed in my history and that in Russia the oligarchs were still persecuting me using their connections with Putin.

But I want to pay attention to another aspect. 5 years is a huge period of time for any person, and these 5 years (and in fact almost 7 years, since I fled Russia in 2016 and before granting refugee status, the Latvian authorities checked my history for a year and a half) are a nightmare in which I found myself "thanks" to the oligarchs whom I once saved from bankruptcy and imprisonment. I lost everything (my home, my family, my entire social circle, I became already a beggar, and "thanks" to the oligarchs, I was forced to flee into complete obscurity). Details about these events are described in the article, which was published on 5 January. Not only is it a shocking story, but it's also extremely vile. I will not wish anyone to experience what I have experienced in these 7 years. And I'm curious how the oligarchs would feel if they found themselves in the position they put me in. But no one civilized country would have granted them asylum and now, moreover, it is already absolutely impossible.

Thank you for your support and please do not stop it, for me the signature of each person is valuable! I believe that, despite corruption, justice will prevail and the oligarchs will finally bear fair and legitimate responsibility (as well as their patron Putin).

Many thanks and kind regards,

Igor Sychev
