Dear Friends, Supporters and Potential Supporters

Thank you very much, that my petition with your help has overcome another important milestone for change.org of 2500 signatures, and in this regard, I have significantly updated the text of the petition, reflecting in it the current state of affairs. So, according to the judgment of 9 December, I have to compensate several million pounds of the costs of the Russian oligarchs who:

• repeatedly threatened to kill me, demanding to drop the lawsuit against them,
• fabricated a crazy criminal case against me in Russia for the same purpose,
• forced me to seek asylum in Europe and - if to be more emotional - made my life hell, 
• bribed my lawyers.

The most piquant detail in the question of the costs of the oligarchs shifted to me, is how exactly the amount is calculated. The oligarchs requested (and the court agreed) that I need to compensate them for the costs of litigation for the period of time starting from the moment when I terminated the agreement with my lawyers (law firm Candey), realizing that they were bribed by these oligarchs.

But even in this situation, I can nevertheless be happy because the amount of the bribe itself has not been shifted to me, although such an approach would fit into the logic of the oligarchs.

More detailed comments will follow later, including about the fact that for some unknown reason, as it turned out, the oligarchs are not subject to at least one provision of the English law - namely (for lawyers) CPR 11(5). I was not able to find out the reason for this strangeness, since numerous lawyers of the oligarchs pretended, bowing their heads, that they did not see and did not hear my argument that they had long known (but never commented), and, unfortunately (for me), from the judge questions to them about the violation of this very simple norm were not received (this argument of mine is not mentioned in judgment at all). And this rule (if it applied to the oligarchs as well) would be enough to put an end to the issue not only about costs, but also in a much broader context in my favor.
