Dear Friends and Supporters, thank you so much for your support!

Today I want to tell you about how those Putin's oligarchs threatened to bribe English judges. These threats were made against the background of their recent demands to drop the lawsuit, accompanied, as usual, by threats to kill me. Since the conversation was recorded by me on a dictaphone (in Russian), here is the verbatim content of this dialogue in English:

  • The oligarchs’ representative: Look, Igor, I have such a question. Imagine that I am you. I am Igor Sychev, and you are the judge. And here sits our defendant [Guryev, owner of the second largest mansion in London]. Please tell me, now you are a judge and you are a bribed judge. This is not possible in the English court, but we will imagine for a moment that you are the bribed judge. What would you cling to for making a decision not in my favor? Here you are the judge, you are the bribed judge, you need to seize upon something. The judge is guided, except for his wig, by his conscience, he is not guided by anything else, this is in any legislation of the world. Now, what would you say? What would a bribed judge cling to?
  • Me: I can't even imagine.
  • The oligarchs’ representative: Is everything going so fine for you? But in principle, we were told the same thing.

That is, the phrase "bribed judge" sounds from the representative of the Putin's oligarchs four times at once in this short fragment.

The next court hearing is scheduled for this Friday, 9 December at 9 a.m. in Courtroom 22 at Commercial & Admiralty Court, 7 Rolls Building, Ground Floor, Rolls Building, Fetter Lane, London, EC4A 1NL.

The hearing is public and anyone can come. I invite all interested!
