WE HAD TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES POSTING AN UPDATE FROM YESTERDAY HEARING, HERE IT IS, BELOW: At today’s hearing the case was continued till March 2nd, 9:00 am for receipt of report. Defense provided probation today with further follow-up documentation that was requested at prior hearing on mental health reports as well as their motion relating to the 290 sex registration. From now until March 2nd, the probation officer has all the material needed to write a report that must take into account the sentencing laws, particularly as it relates to the offenses Farmer plead to, Prop 57, and the Realignment Act. On the March 2nd, 2017 at 9am in Dept 39, the judge will set a date for sentencing and secondly will discuss the parameters as to who will be able to provide impact statements at the sentencing.
