PUBLIC INQUIRY INTO UNDERGROUNDING ENERGY TRANSMISSION PROJECTS ANNOUNCED 

Thanks to your support, and to the formidable work of Dr Joe McGirr MP (Wagga Wagga), the NSW Government has agreed to hold a Public Inquiry into the feasibility of undergrounding transmission infrastructure for renewable energy projects!

This is HUGE and is encouraging for the consideration of Undergrounding Humelink! But we need your support now! 

This is an important inquiry and one that gives the community an avenue for our voices to be heard in regard to the devastating impacts the overhead transmission line will have on the environment, habitats, endangered species, regional communities, fire risk, people, livelihoods, tourism and the amenity of beautiful landscapes.

Undergrounding negates our significant concerns and is the world's best practice alternative!

It is therefore critical that as many submissions to the Inquiry into the feasibility of undergrounding the transmission infrastructure for renewable energy projects are received by the committee by midnight on 14 July 2023.

Submissions can be simply one page. It is up to you as to how much work you want to put into this, or can put into this, as we know everyone is busy. But this is our chance to be heard and we need everyone to put in a submission.
