Happy Flag Day! On this 54th anniversary of the Canadian flag, let's give it a birthday present we can all celebrate: giving it the place of honour at all times. That takes a simple change to the federal rule that currently places all British royal and vice-regal flags ahead of the Maple Leaf. No law needs to change. No Parliament needs to vote. No committee needs to research it. No poll needs to be taken. It's simple, it's logical, and it's patriotic. Let's finally put the Canadian flag first, above all.
