Winnie the Pooh 100th Anniversary
Hi Everyone,
I wanted to let you know that today (October 14th) is the 100th anniversary of Winnie the Pooh. This milestone celebrates a full century since the author, A.A. Milne, first published the classic book in London on October 14, 1926.
Different ways that this event is celebrated are the following:
- The New York Public Library hosts a special anniversary display at the Treasures Gallery featuring the original stuffed animals that belonged to Christopher Robin Milne.
- New book releases
- Disney Merch & Collaborations
An additional way to celebrate this milestone is for Disney+ to add more Winnie the Pooh content to its collection. This would be the right time to do it. Some examples that are still missing on the streaming platform include:
- Winnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore
- Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween Movie
- Boo to You Too! Winnie the Pooh
- Welcome to Pooh Corner
- Super Sleuth Christmas Movie
- Tigger & Pooh and a Musical Too
Let's continue contacting these important people to make our voices heard once and for all.

- Dana Walden (President and CCO of the Walt Disney Company): dana.walden@disney.com

- Asad Ayaz (Chief Marketing and Brand Officer): asad@disney.com
Other news is that this petition now has 4,056 signatures. Thank you, everyone. Let's continue to keep up the good work.
Let's continue to move forward with signing and sharing this petition to reach the next milestone (of 5,000 signatures) to encourage Disney+ to make a bigger and better effort once and for all. We need to all remember that it’s not just Disney+ that needs to make the effort — we need to make that effort to.
