EAC revisit the fashion sustainability report!

Hey Changemaker,
First and foremost, I wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU to you for signing this petition to get the #FixingFashion report back on the EAC Agenda.
In the last 6 months we have seen our industry show it's true colours with suppliers & garments workers across the globe not being paid to BooHoo using UK suppliers who manufacture their garments in the UK with buildings that have potentially life-threatening fire risks and failure to pay the minimum wage to the workers.
On the 6th October 2020 we received an announcement from the Environmental Audit Committee (EAC) that they'll be revisiting fashion sustainability and working conditions in the UK garment industry.
The news was a breath of fresh hope within the fashion industry. however, the fight is far from over! The EAC has required 11 questions to be answered with evidence for the next political hurdle to be taken.
So what can we do?
Please continue to share this petition
Take a look at the requirements submitted from the EAC
Share the requirements to those you think could help with the required evidence
There is a passionate #FixingFashion team of us who has come together to gather as much information to support the 11 points the EAC has requested. Please get in touch with myself directly on kate@miapparel.co.uk if you think something or someone would be of value towards our collation of evidence.
Again, I want to thank each and every one of you who has signed, shared and commented to get this petition where it is. Without you, we wouldn't be where we are now.
It's amazing to see how we can come together to create change for the better.
Let's keep going!!!
