

The Justice Department and attorneys general from eight states, including California and Oregon, filed a lawsuit Friday alleging that the web-based company RealPage collected sensitive information from landlords nationwide, making it easier for them to coordinate and raise prices for millions of renters.

Loopholes such as these like RealPage need to be investigated, charged and closed. We cannot afford to further allow our landlords to break the law, force us out into the streets using their classist justifications to continue. Whereas, I must say that the lawsuits that are just firing up, say that they are NOT entitled to continue as they so state with heads held high. And as it currently seems, they are soon to learn something the hard way. Just keep watching those headlines and getting the words out.
