Thank you so much for supporting this cause. Your signature represents more than agreement, it’s a commitment to justice for the wrongfully convicted.

After speaking with my professor, I have revised the petition slightly to reflect what Congress can constitutionally do. While Congress cannot directly force states to act, it can establish a federal compensation program or use grant funding to encourage states to adopt fair and consistent standards for exoneree support. This strategy has worked in other areas of law and offers a powerful, legally sound path forward.
