By closing Hicks, the space many students rely on to study, the new building not conducive to a productive work environment. The difference in the walk to the new building for students who live on the south end of state street is a huge component in fighting for Hicks, along with the lack of available study tables at the new building. Students should not have to choose between sitting on the floor when the space equipped with tables still exists on campus.
