Recently, the issue of puppy mills in the United States has been a serious problem. Dogs are continuously getting bred over and over to the point where they have serious health issues. Another serious problem with puppy mills is that the condition of the puppy mill establishments are terrible. They are incredibly dirty and slovenly. There are also dogs that pace around in their cages due to emotional stress. Many dogs are put out to suffer slow and painful deaths because proper medical care "costs too much." Many dogs are left to stay in crates and cages all day and do not have space to run or play. Many of the cages are bug infested and are very disorganized and dirty. Many puppies are often malnourished as they don't receive the proper nutrients they need to live. Puppies are often times taken away from their mother at three to twelve weeks of age.  This is bad because puppies can often times develop separation anxiety as they still depend on nursing at a young age. On average there are about two million dogs bred in puppy mills each year. Please sign this petition in order to spread awareness about the awful mistreatment of dogs in puppy mills. The only solution to the problem is shutting the puppy mill industry down and promoting shelter adoptions.  Please sign this petition to help end the puppy mill industry and spread awareness about puppy mills.
