Punish the offenders for burning Indian Constitution

Punish the offenders for burning Indian Constitution
The Issue
TO
The President of India,
New Delhi.
Sir,
On August 9 some anti-reservation and anti-Sc/St Act protesters while raising anti-Ambedkar slogans at Parliament Street, New Delhi openly burnt the Indian Constitution in the presence of Police and uploaded the video thereof.

They also raised anti Ambedkar slogans. It has hurt the feelings not only of Dalits but all those who respect and believe in our Constitution.
This act of burning the Constitution is not only an insult of the Indian Constitution but also an offence against the whole nation. It amount to sedition.
You are hereby requested to direct the concerned authorities to register a case and take strict action against these offenders to set an example before others. The police men who remained silent spectators should also be punished for dereliction of duty.
With regards,
Yours Sincerely
