Here is a copy of official Kentucky state documents to avoid the Cedargrove Rd /Hwy 480 area and Bernheim Forest area due to environmental concerns. This was on file and submitted to the PSC that turned down every complaint filed against this pipeline saying the environmental concerns are with the EEC . We do have a current hearing being presently under review :). We are still hoping to find a person, organization or entity who is willing to help be a a expert witness . To keep this pipeline from harming Bernheim Forest, and the Home / Land owners.
LG&E plans to deal with the sinkholes encountered all along their proposed pipeline path in extremely karst terrain, their engineers plan to fill the sinkholes with concrete slurry.
To put slurry not only would deoxygenate water destroy the ecological, ecosystems of aquatic life and wildlife that would drink from those tainted water . The destruction of that biodiversity of the aquifers and springs would also poison the caves and protected endangered species known in karst habitats. That would occur on Bernheim property and three of land/homeowners. These watershed follow into the salt river . Going through areas not facing the pipeline procurement of land . Several of these watershed are already contaminated and need preservation to not farther them into decimation. Looking at just that portion of this conundrum alone the details and laws that could be overlooked we are not vigilant. That is not even getting to fact karst terrain / sinkholes are unstable shifting soils that collapse ( and could / will break a pipeline to poison the waterways or have gas build up just awaiting a spark - there is not any type of concrete that would not be eroded out or would hold with the hydrostatic pressure of the groundwater especially with our heavy rains that all ready naturally erodes the grades of land due to run off ) This would violate every building, construction, environmental law .
We all know the lies, propaganda and omissions that Lge has already committed by digging 15 wells illegally that we were told to contact the police on for their illegal construction practices in a recent hearing . The EEC is the entity enforce the laws to prevent such a tragedy. There was a natural disaster in Brooks - Bullitt County this spring where slurry was dumped into a creek/ watershed. That made national news and declared a disaster by the Army Core of Engineers and the Division of Water.
We are in need of help , there is EEC hearing on February 28th 2020 - Bernheim and each person partied to the petition including the Home/Landowners and myself are to file a expert witness or witnesses ( that may called to a hearing in the future) Which means if there are any Water Quality, Geotechinal,
Entomologists ,Seismologist, Chemist ( to explain the mixing of radon in karst terrain with emissions or leaks of the natural gas pipline chemicals) ,Biologist for Aquatic, Birds or Raptors ,Bats or Endangered Species and plants .Horticulturalist ,Botany , Ecologist that could provide a statement or report as to why these permits should be rescinded . I understand that this may be a lot to ask but it is a way to support our fight against this pipeline. Please contact me with any questions ,concerns or details. * I have mounds of research and information all ready to go from EEC own site and documentation .

BULLITT COUNTIANS FOR JUSTICE
If you care to read this study, you may have a better understanding of the concerns we have expressed. Liars Greed & Electric commissioned Ensite, a study group, to evaluate 10 potential routes for the planned pipeline. Ensite recommended a couple of routes, none of which would go through 480, and also explicitly said to AVOID Bernheim due to cost and environmental issues. At the conclusion of the study, Ensite consulted with BEAM and EDA and chose a route going down 480, cutting through the middle of large landowner's properties and Bernheim. The chosen route was not studied, Beam and the EDA were apparently allowed to dictate where the line would go. The routes Ensite recommended would have affected Beam-owned land and were nixed. Beam, the beneficiary of the planned pipeline, wants the gas but wants us "little people" to bear the burden.
