To: The Executive Governor and the House of Assembly of Ondo State
Subject: Petition for the Immediate Implementation of the Ondo Citizen Wealth Dividend from the 13% Oil Derivation Fund
We, the undersigned citizens and residents of Ondo State, note that billions of Naira enter our state treasury through the 13% Oil Derivation Fund and federal oil exploration bonuses. However, the economic reality of everyday families, market women, farmers, and youths does not reflect this natural wealth.
We hereby petition the Ondo State Government to establish The Ondo Wealth Dividend—a legally backed, transparent framework that distributes a direct, recurring financial allowance from these oil bonuses straight into the verified bank accounts or mobile wallets of every registered Ondo State citizen using secure NIN and BVN systems.
