"Francis, who is seeking redacted information and greater transparency from ASADA in relation to the doping saga, was told in a Brisbane administrative appeals tribunal on Wednesday that the AFL and ASADA are preparing to hand over correspondence they shared in relation to the investigation."

"Francis alleges that ASADA had insufficient evidence to charge Essendon players with the administration of Thymosin Beta-4, and that ASADA either lied in its November 3, 2014 presentation to the Anti-Doping Review Violation Panel about the evidence it had, or that the ADRVP were incompetent.

ASADA has strongly denied allegations of evidence manipulation."

J34 opinion: 

"In response to an FOI request for the records of discussions of the ADRVP. ASADA only supplied a copy of the decision (which was public in any event). ASADA said they could not find any records of discussions - but such records would need to be kept for the purposes of AAT hearings.

When ASADA was pressed for a yes/no as to the existence of records of discussions, their (lame) response was relevant records could not be located, but he could not go so far as to say they were non-existent."

Hmmm.....   

Justice for the 34 renews its call for an Independent inquiry into anti-doping with wide ranging terms of reference which allow all sporting bodies, all athletes, and all interested parties to make representations.

This is in the national interest, and it will help all athletes, not just the Essendon 34.
