Hi Everyone,

The Manitoba Canary and Finch Club would like to Thank EVERYONE who has participated in the ONLINE Petition thus far.  We also have physical petitions being handed out throughout the city of Winnipeg to Veterinarian offices, Pet Supply Stores and any other store who is willing to display it to their staff or customers.  If you know someone who does not have access to a computer but would like to sign the petition please feel free to reach out to us and we can direct them to a paper copy location.

We need to take this time to remind everyone whom this By-Law may affect be it for the sake of birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish or small mammals... it is ever so critical that you prepare a letter and send it in to RPObylaw@winnipeg.ca addressing your objections and concerns.  We need as many letters handed in as possible by the deadline of August 31, 2021.  The proposed changes are the most restrictive across all of Canada!  Please also reach out to your City Councilor and Share this petition near and far!  The more exposure the better!   Thank you!!
