Levelling up money was awarded for Billingham Town Centre in November 2023. As part of the criteria, funds are required to be spent within 2 years of being awarded …so the clock is ticking, and with no say or input from you.

Since then there has been many behind closed doors conversations and deals made between Stockton Borough Council and the private owners Evolve. As well as the current government temporarily freezing funding in July 2024.

This year could be crucial for our town centre and it’s crucial the people of Billingham have their say.

We are less than 300 signatures away from the council hearing your voice and being open and transparent with residents.

If you can please share in order to get any additional signatures for what could be a crucial year for our town centre, and to make Stockton Borough Council listen.
