Almost 18 months since we became aware of this monstrosity in our back yard - the onslaught with new applications continue with nearly one a week in the local paper (watch out for green 'official' notices, and blocks talking about registering as an Interested and Affected Party) ...authorities are quiet?  Even politicians are quiet? Locals who protested were dismissed on social media as 'just looking for jobs' :-( that's NOT the whole story!
