My dear supporters.

We have only a short time to act. If the Tampur Hydro dam were built it would spell DOOM for leusers elephants. The dam would block a proposed elephant corridor and split the population of elephants in half, making them too small and isolated to breed in the long term.

I'm asking you to sign my other petition Cancel Funding for the Tampur Dam. The government has provided a permit, but the banks that fund them can withdraw their support. Please join me in my call to SAVE LEUSER and save the sumatran elephant.
