FKL, along with forestry officials are prosecuting and reforesting 20-30+ of the worst offending illegal concessions." The kluet swamp is part of the orangutan capitol of the world. It is the only peat swamp in sumatra where orangutans have been observed using tools. This restoration is a huge boon to the survival of many species, including Sun Bears, Gibbons, and Tigers. Places like this must be protected.
