GOOD NEWS, MADI’s LAW PROGRESSES!!!The House of Commons is back in session! ❤️❤️

The Canadian House of Commons reconvened today May 26, 2025. This marks the first time Parliament has met since being prorogued in January when the previous Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, announced his intent to resign. 

I was concerned that Madi’s Law would lose momentum and not continue on because of the parliament closure. I received good news from Cameron Wilcox a member of Todd Doherty’s team (Madi’s Law is being sponsored by the Shadow Minister of addictions and suicide prevention Todd Doherty). They’re getting back to work on drafting a bill for Madi’s Law. 
    I’m pleased to let everyone know Madi’s Law is back on track! We’re doing this TOGETHER and I can’t thank you enough! We just have to keep going! Canadian’s deserve safer practices when it comes to prescription psychotropic drugs.
