Ahead of the General Election, Prutehi Litekyan: Save Ritidian invited all political candidates to take part in a survey. We wanted to know where they stood on important environmental and cultural justice issues.
A small subcommittee of volunteers* developed five survey questions for the candidates. *PLSR members who are candidates did not participate in the development of this nor did they view the questions in advance.

PLSR has also conducted a survey among its members and developed a list of candidates who strongly support and understand the issues of protecting our environment and sacred sites. Candidates were evaluated on their survey responses, public statements, participation in our demonstrations, and introduction or support of legislative actions.
