The members of Prutehi Litekyan: Save Ritidian (PLSR) extend Un Dångkolo na Si Yu'os Ma'åse' and thank everyone who attended our candlelight vigil last night. We gathered together at the Ritidian Overlook - a space that connects Tailalo’ to Litekyan and we came together in ceremony to honor these sacred spaces and the struggles of our people. We are extremely humbled and moved by the beautiful gathering of well over 100 individuals who made the trip out to the Overlook to be with us. We are also extremely grateful to all of the original landowners, storytellers, chanters, singers, and poets who gave their offerings in words and music. We are fortified by our unified commitment to protect our island home and we are inspired by our mutual love for Litekyan.
