It’s been a while since we’ve shared a major update, but we finally have big news:
Trans Minors Rights is merging with Lancaster County Chooses Love.
After the 2024 election, our board and volunteers had many difficult conversations about TMR’s future. The changing political and economic climate made it harder to continue operating as we had for the past six years, so we decided to shift our focus from statewide policy work to supporting our local community.
LCCL’s mission, programs, and care for the community deeply resonated with us. After seeing the heart behind their work, we approached them about a merger. More than a year later, after many conversations and plenty of paperwork, we can finally share what this means.
Together, TMR and LCCL will:
• Expand youth-focused advocacy and programming
• Share TMR’s educational resources, including our Gender-Affirming How-To Guide for healthcare professionals
• Increase access to free binders and tuck kits
• Grow intergenerational programming through LCCL’s Queer Youth Collective and THRIVE 50+ group
We truly believe this merger will help our community become more connected, informed, and supported. We encourage you to follow LCCL, visit their website, and support their work.

One important note: TMR’s social media and email accounts will become inactive. Our Facebook and Instagram pages will eventually close, comments on TikTok will be disabled, and our email and website will redirect to LCCL.
