Women in Port Elizabeth Central, Town, Richmond Hill and North End are not safe. Every day we hear of harassment, assault, kidnapping, rape and murder of women. We cannot walk to the shops, to work, to school, or to church without fear.

Even in broad daylight, our sisters are being attacked. Many cases are not reported because we have lost trust. Police response is slow, and many streets are dark and unpatrolled.
