Petition updateProtect the U.S. Postal Service: A Vital Public Service for All Americans🚨 2,000 Signatures & Counting! 🚨

I wanted to take a moment to share my heartfelt appreciation for your support. We’ve now reached 2,000 signatures, and that is no small feat. Every single signature represents a voice demanding that the USPS remain a public service, not a for-profit corporation that abandons the people who need it most. But we’re not done yet. The fight continues, and your help is more important than ever.

Through my husband’s service as a Letter Carrier, Clerk, and now working in a Plant, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact of USPS on our communities.

This is why I, as his wife, have chosen to stand up for him and everyone like him. My love for him—and the values he embodies as a Postal Worker—made it impossible for me to stay silent when I saw the institution he has given so much to facing threats. This is my decision, my effort, and my way of honoring the work that he and so many others do. It is my love letter to my husband. It is also my way of standing up for the communities I have lived in, my country, and a public service that has been with us since our nation’s conception.

When we first met, his commitment to his route and the individuals he served was evident. On chilly mornings, I would warm his socks and prepare a hot thermos to ensure he stayed comfortable during his deliveries. In the summer, I made sure his water bottle was filled with ice to combat the heat. These small acts were my way of supporting a man who gave so much of himself to others.

His genuine concern for the elderly and underserved on his route was inspiring. He took the time to check in on those who seemed in need, embodying the true spirit of community service. For him, being a letter carrier was not merely a job; it was a calling to make a difference in the lives of others. You do not see the same devotion and pride as often in for-profit companies.

I have often jested that I am the "third wheel" in our relationship, with the USPS being his first love. Yet, it is this very passion and dedication that have deepened my admiration for him. The thought of this integral part of his identity being threatened is more distressing than any financial implications.

That is why I am asking you to keep sharing. Keep speaking out. Keep signing. If 2,000 of us can stand together, imagine how many more we can reach.

📢 The Fight is NOT Over!

🔹 USPS is older than the United States itself, older than our modern military, and older than any police force in this country. It has been a pillar of public service since 1775, ensuring that every American—no matter where they live—has access to reliable mail delivery.

🔹 Misinformation is rampant, and many people don’t understand what’s truly happening to USPS. That’s why PreserveUSPS.org has compiled resources to answer common misconceptions AND offer real solutions. It’s not enough to just fight back—we need to educate and advocate.

📢 Keep Sharing, Keep Signing, Keep Fighting!
Our voices matter. Our efforts matter. USPS has been there for us—now, let’s be there for it.
