Dear Supporters,

My team (which includes 2 environmental scientists) presented evidence supporting conservation of the Harris Rd property at the BOC meeting on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Many wildlife and environmental activists stood up to speak. In the end, the commissioners voted to deny the developers rezoning request! So this is a huge win for our cause! The very next day commissioner Adam Wright publicly announced his commitment to work with the Triangle Land Conservancy to protect and preserve the land as an extension of Joyner Park. So let’s make this happen!
