“All property owners in the neighborhoods surrounding the Alta Vista Water Tower site, commonly known as 19295 W. North Avenue, Brookfield, WI 53045, which property owners have or will suffer a diminution in the value of their property upon the City leasing its Alta Vista site for cell tower purposes, in violation of the deed restriction governing the property, which deed restriction requires “the site shall be kept in a condition compatible and harmonious with the surrounding area.” For more than three months, residents of our neighborhood have articulated our concerns to the City of Brookfield for the safety of the families living adjacent to the proposed Verizon cell tower site. Residents have expressed in detail, to the Mayor, staff and aldermen, the dangers from lightning, fires, falling ice and debris and failure of the tower collapsing on our homes.
