The most recent news article regarding the mine suggests that Highland Copper will decide whether or not to greenlight the project in early 2024. This means we have at least six months to build public opposition, but we can't drag our heels–– in the mean time, they're doing "site prep work," which is code for clearcutting. The best way to show public opposition? Spread this petition far and wide!

Once we have gathered a significant amount of signatures, we will begin contacting relevant organizations and celebrities to become signatories, thus giving our message more weight. 

Always remember, despair is a useless emotion, but so is blind hope. The only thing that brings results is WORK. This is a fight we really can win!
