Thank you so much for signing my petition against deep sea mining in the Pacific Ocean.

The oceans are the very cradle of life on planet Earth ,regulate climate and rainfall. They sequester carbon dioxide oxide. They are a source of food for millions and sustain countless communities along the coastline.

Yet these life giving activities are not enough for Gerard Barron and Oliver Gunasekara , CEOs of metals companies that want to exploit the Pacific Ocean by deep sea mining.

We cannot allow this.
