The Mütter Museum is a unique gem of an institution. Yet the current leadership has done potentially irreparable harm to it. Just today another long time employee left. Disability advocates continue to express concerns over the removal of online content. An exhibit that was due to launch was shut down. It has to stop.

The ethics of displaying human remains are complicated and it's a discussion worth having. This campaign has never been about stopping progress or change at the Museum. It's about how that change comes about, and honoring the mission of the institution. 

Institutions should always be progressing, and evolving, and learning. What's happening at the Mütter isn't positive change, it's potential ruin. It's not evolution; it's destruction.

We won't let that happen.
