Council meeting, tomorrow Tuesday 14th of July at 3 pm, council offices, please come

We thought a compromise could be reached but it appeared the only side willing to compromise was us. Please share to all you know that may have an interest in what is happening

In fairness to Tom O'Callaghan he is putting forward the following motion:

Recognising the deficit of community buildings centrally located in Clare , the County of Culture , available as workshops for artists and makers to create, I ask that Clare County Council consider the reuse of unused council owned buildings as such a facility.

The concern we have is the council have no funds nor any blueprint at this time; plus even if they do secure funding what is to stop them doing the same sort of turn around they have done with the Cloister.  

So if you are available on Tuesday afternoon, please come along to the council office and lend your voice. Some of us are considering wearing black and black shades/glasses with a sign saying silent protest. We do not believe in screaming or blocking places or people but we need to make some impression.
