Southampton Township Meeting 10/20

On October 20th Southampton Township introduced an ordinance banning the discharge of a firearm within 1,000ft of a school. Thank you to the township for acting swiftly, we all appreciate the response.

Many parents and residents showed up to let the township know where they stand. I applaud their commitment to civic engagement, this is how we make change! A huge thank you to NJ Moms Demand Action for attending and sharing facts about gun violence in America. Lastly, a huge applause and thank you to those who signed the petition. We will keep this going until the vote for this ordinance on Tuesday November 24th. 

The township committee was very receptive, and I am hopeful this will pass.
