Service Animals Northern Ireland Sentencing

Now that the Animal Welfare (Service Animals) Act (Northern Ireland) 2022 is in force it is vital we have sentencing and penalties for these canine law enforcers so the Act is valid separate under the the Welfare of Animals Act (Northern Ireland) 2011. Lots of research being carried out at present. It is hoped Stormont returns after May 2022 elections, if not my work will continue with Alex Easton MLA after the elections to begin the campaign to have tougher longer sentencing and fines for harming or killing our service animals under seperate penalties in the Welfare of Animals Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.

The 2nd campaign I am running with Alex Easton MLA is to bring Harper's Law (mandatory life sentences for those who kill an emergency worker in the course of their duty) to Northern Ireland as soon as Royal Assent is given for England & Wales.
