Protect Service Animals in Northern Ireland

I'm sure a lot of folk have heard the news that Alex Easton, MLA has resigned from the DUP and become an Independent.
I have spoken with Alex as I've always done regarding the campaign and he will be working with me until the Animal Welfare (Service Animals) Bill is enacted and keep me informed of dates once the Legislative Process begins and I'm still in contact with Mr. Andrews, DAERA who has been so helpful with constant updates to me.
I have worked on my own bringing this campaign to where it is today with Alex's support, advice and help and no one else. I have always tried to keep a tight rein on it as there had been some organisations trying to claim it's their doing and I was afraid interference or wrong advice to folk could jeopardise everything which was stressful.
I am aware once the Law is enacted there will be those making all sorts of ridiculous claims they where behind or involved in the campaign but as long as I get the service animals of Northern Ireland protected my job will be done.
Alex and I will see this through to Enactment. I will still hold a tight grip on this campaign and keep working and pushing until enactment then I can relax but there is still a way to go yet.
Thank you for you support and I will keep you informed with updates.
