Protect Police Dogs

FinnsLaw NIreland has full backing from the DUP Party.

Sir Jeffrey Donaldson will go to Westminster to speak with Sir Oliver Heald to have Northern Ireland included in the Heald Bill.

The Heald Bill know as 'Finns Law' - The Service Animals (Offences) Bill 2018 will include all service animals being Police, Fire & Rescue & Military.

Attacks on police animals are happening daily but very few are pursued through the Courts due to the lack of an appropriate offence, this Bill will now protect all service animals. Police animals are put in harm’s way to protect us in the name of the law.

As a direct result of campaigning so far, progress towards our aim has been made but as stated there is a long way to go and is a slow process through Westminster.
