Protect Police Dogs

I have attached the video again to remind everyone why #Finn'sLaw are campaigning hard to have the Law changed to protect Service Animals. Although RPD Finn's injuries where life threatening this shows the attacks on Police Dogs daily.

This video shows a 90 second clip of a horrifying attack on PD Bomber. We can only show you this much of the 8 minute sustained assault as it is just too graphic to share it all. Credit for the video goes to GMP and Bombers handler who have allowed us to share the video to help with the #Finnslaw campaign.
Whilst on a routine traffic stop, PD Bomber’s handler found himself faced with a man in possession of a large amount of cash and a real determination to avoid arrest.
A fight broke out between the man and Bombers handler, the man broke free and was getting away on foot. Pd Bomber was released to detain the male. The male attacked Bomber by punching, biting and strangling him a number of times.
Bombers handler would like you to take from the video just exactly what our amazing police dogs face every day. To do so without any protection in law is immoral and the reason why we are campaigning so hard for #Finnslaw
Pd Bombers injuries included a bruised voice box, such was the pressure exerted that his biological instincts took over and he evacuated his anal glands.
The charge raised for this? Criminal damage
The sentence? A community order
Bomber made a full recovery and returned to work.
