Protect Police Dogs

In 2016, chasing a suspect PC Dave Wardell dispatched a highly trained, highly effective police asset named Finn to rescue the day. Finn ran forward alone and incapacitated the suspect so the officer could move in safely and arrest the suspect. Unfortunately, the suspect stabbed Finn twice, seriously injuring him and stabbed Pc Wardell in the hand. Finn went through 4 hours of life-saving surgery. Finn, the hero of the encounter, is a dog and saved his handler, PC Dave Wardell's life. It’s because of dogs such as RPD Finn that the UK Government need to treat this as a criminal offence with a long sentence for anyone who willfully and maliciously harms or kills one of these serving service animals and not looked upon as damaged property. RPD Finn is not worthless but a serving officer doing his duty and protecting us with his colleagues - Police Officers.
