Quick Update 🚸
I heard back from the Beaverton School District’s Safe Routes to School Coordinator, who confirmed my safety concern for the NW 185th crosswalk (between Rock Creek Elementary and Westview High) will be discussed at their November safety meeting. 

While the district noted they don’t encourage students to cross 185th because of bus service, I followed up to stress that many kids do walk or bike there daily, and this crosswalk still needs attention to prevent a tragedy.

I appreciate that the issue is officially on their radar and I’ll keep pushing to make sure our kids safety stays the priority.
