With confidence of the community’s continued support, Bergman and Associates is pressing forward in the legal fight against Bill 96 on our behalf. In mid-May 2025, they filed an application to intervene in the Supreme Court appeal on Bill 21, taking direct aim at the Notwithstanding Clause. We had rights before the 1982 Constitution—and we should still have them today. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms was never meant to take us backward. The issue isn't just the pre-emptive use of the Clause, but that it exists with insufficient limits on its scope and application. 

Make your support go further telling others, joining us and donating to the cause. When rights are denied, it is those who are already marginalized that are harmed the most. Together, let's put an end to this mean-spirited legislation.
