Good news...

Friends of the Iveagh Markets are delighted to see the essential remedial works to preserve the Iveagh Markets have finally begun. Over the next 8 weeks works include the installation of safe access routes and the removal of vegetation and loose material. The main works are to start at the end of the year, taking between 12-18 months.

We all hope these timelines are achieved.

In other good news... at a meeting with Dublin City Council this week we also learned that the markets are structurally in better condition than expected - great news!
